psHolix invented and patented the pseudo-holography display technology. Utilizing this technology, people can watch real 3D without glasses and can simultaneously watch their 2D content on the same device.

The Inventor and CTO of psHolix is Dr. Rolf-Dieter Naske. Dr. Naske was born in Hamburg in 1950. He studied mathematics and Information Technology and completed his Ph.D. in Digital Image Processing in 1982. Since 1996 he has been working in the fields of stereoscopy and autostereoscopy:

  • 1984 – 1986 Project Manager working for Digital Equipment
  • 1986 – 1990 International trainer for Project Management & Software Engineering
  • 1990 – 1998 Management consultant for Lean Production & Lean Management
  • 1996 – Started working on 3D projects
  • 1998 – 2007 Founder & CEO of 3DTV SystemHouse in Hamburg
  • 2000 – 2001 Inventor of several patents for 2D/3D conversion
  • 2001 Patents sold to X3D Technologies, New York
  • 2002 Product Launch “3D-TV Transformer” & “Extreme 3D System”
  • 2002 Winner “Best New Technology” (Retail Vision, LA)
  • 2002 Winner “Best New Product” (Internet World, NY)
  • 2007 Product Launch “3D Games Viewer”
  • 2008 – 2009 Product Manager for Spatial View, Dresden
  • 2006 – 2018 Inventor of several patents for Pseudo-holographic Display Technology
